The Thermage procedure has been referred to as the non-surgical face lift. It uses radio frequency energy to tighten loose skin without incisions or surgery. It does not require recovery and is only offered in physicians offices by qualified personnel.
While not a substitute for a face lift, the Thermage is best used for mild to moderate amount of sagging skin and wrinkles. It is also referred to as the thermal lift or dermal lift. Thermage has also been used to treat active acne.
