Covid 19 Update & Virtual Consultations

Iowa Plastic Surgery is taking extra precautions during this coronavirus pandemic. For the time being, we are open. We hope you are safe and well. As such, we thought perhaps we could comfort our patients who are social- distancing and homebound.

Let us provide a bit of a distraction for you during this time. Find out information about a plastic or reconstructive procedure. We will offer virtual consultations for surgical, non-surgical, and skincare patients with a charge of $95. The fee applies toward the procedure. We want to take this time to help you become informed and look forward to the future.

We offer virtual consults via Nextech Telehealth. After scheduling a virtual appointment, patients
are sent a link by text and/or email. Simply follow the link at the date and time of your appointment to enter the virtual room and chat with Dr. Van Raalte. Click here for more information on how to prepare for or access your virtual appointment.

Office Precautions

We are taking extra precautions within our office to keep our patients and staff safe. Our cleaning procedures have become more robust and frequent. Each room is thoroughly cleaned between each patient visit and exposed to high powered UV cleaning daily. Additionally, we have air purifiers and fans running continuously throughout the office to ensure the flow of clean air. For patients receiving injections around their nose or mouth, we use a mouth rise, special n95 mouth filters, and smoke evacuator while in the room.
