Gynecomastia is a prevalent issue where the tissue under a young man’s nipple starts to grow and it looks like small breasts. The primary symptom of Gynecomastia is the enlargement of male breasts due to the growth of glandular tissue. The following symptoms will help you have gynecomastia:

  • Small, rubbery lump under the nipple.
  • It can happen on both or either side and the lump might feel sore.
  • Sensitivity and tenderness might be present, even though there is no sever pain.
  • The enlargement may be greater on one side if present on both sides.

Gynecomastia normally occurs when there is a decrease in the hormone testosterone compared with estrogen. Testosterone contains male traits such as body hair and muscle mass, while estrogen is responsible for female traits such as breast growth.
