Ayova Skin Care

Our AYOVA brand of medical-grade skin care products have been specially formulated to treat a wide array of skin conditions. Sold exclusively by Iowa Plastic Surgery, these products have been designed to cleanse, treat, moisturize and protect from the environmental factors and chronic conditions that harm and age our skin. The products are categorized for 3 types of skin – dry/sensitive, normal and oily/acneic – with a group of stand-alone products to treat specific conditions on the face, neck and eye area. Each line is color-coded and numbered for easy use.

Ayova Pink – Dry/Sensitive Skin

Ayova Pink – The gentle regimen of a foam cleanser, antioxidant gel, cream moisturizer, sunscreen and nighttime retinol is ideal for those with dry, sensitive skin.

1. Be Gentle

This extremely gentle, plant-based foaming cleanser effectively removes oil and pollutants without the use of harsh detergents and reduces redness for patients with dry, sensitive, and compromised skin.

2. Activate

Delivered in a soothing, hydrating gel, this antioxidant product stimulates collagen production and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

3. Nourish

This rich, creamy moisturizer is ideal for hydrating extremely dry, sensitive, and compromised skin by increasing barrier lipid levels. This product is gentle, non-irritating, and leaves the skin feeling smooth and hydrated without heavy or greasy residues.

4. Solar Defense

Protect your skin with this chemical-free SPF 40 sunscreen. This mineral-tinted product, intended for daily use, masks redness and imperfections while guarding your skin from damaging UVA and UVB sun rays.

5. Illuminate

This ultimate all-in-one gentle nighttime anti-aging cream is composed of several key antioxidants, exfoliating agents, and a potent retinol which, in conjunction with one another, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, smooths texture, evens skin tone, protects against environmental pollutants, and hydrates and locks in moisture.

 

Ayova Teal – Normal Skin

Ayova Teal – For patients with normal skin types, this five-step regimen includes vitamin C. B3 and a blend of hydroxyacids to smooth, stimulate and protect.

1. Refresh

This mild lactic acid foaming cleanser leaves skin feeling clean and refreshed without over-drying.

2. Energize

A highly effective exfoliating antioxidant, this vitamin C serum brightens and smooths complexion, stimulates collagen production, and provides daily protection from environmental stressors and pollutants.

3. Recover

This robust moisturizer contains vitamin B3 to promote microcirculation, increase barrier lipid levels, and reduce skin irritation and inflammation.

4. Solar Screen

Protect your skin with this chemical-free SPF 40 sunscreen. This daily use product is lightweight with a soft tint that masks redness and imperfections while guarding your skin from the harmful effects of the sun.

5. Restore 1/Restore 2

Available in two concentrations (0.5% and 1% retinol), these nightly gels smooth fine lines and wrinkles, regulate oil production, and brighten complexion.

6. Brighten

This intense blend of kojic acid, hydroxyacids, and vitamin C inhibits melanin production, reduces pigment, and brightens the skin. This product can be compounded with vitamin A for increased anti-aging benefits and an additional lightening agent for pigment reduction.

 

Ayova Blue – Oily/Acneic Skin

Ayova Blue – Designed to treat oily/acneic skin, this line of products clarifies complexion, reduces breakouts, and regulates oil production.

1. Clarify

This medicated foaming cleanser combines salicylic acid and glycolic acid to remove oil and debris, clear and prevent active and future breakouts, and reduce redness and inflammation.

2. Stimulate

A high-potency combination of vitamin C, E, and ferulic acid, this serum brightens skin tones, clarifies and improves the overall appearance of the skin, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, and can be compounded with an additional lightening agent for patients in need of pigment reduction.

3. Moisture Veil

This soft, lightweight moisturizing serum enhances hydration, plumps and firms the skin, locks in moisture, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and can be used prior to applying other creams and lotions.

4. Solar Chic

Protect your skin with this chemical-free SPF 40 sunscreen. This product is intended for daily use and provides a natural tint which masks redness and skin imperfections while providing physical protection from harmful UVA and UVB radiation.

5. Refine 1 / Refine 2

Available in two concentrations (0.5% and 1% retinol), these nightly serums smooth fine lines and wrinkles, regulate oil production, and brighten complexion.

 

Ayova Grey

Ayova Gray – Formulated for use in addition to our Pink, Teal and Blude Lines, these stand-alone products treat specific conditions on the face, neck and eye area.

1. Awake + Rest Eye Kit

This potent, two-product regimen combines retinol, peptides, exfoliating acids, and key antioxidants to reduce puffiness, brighten dark spots, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and smooth the delicate skin surface around the eyes.

2. Resurface

A more intense clarifying product, these pads contain three powerful acids which work together to brighten complexion, reduce redness, even skin tone, and balance texture. This product is ideal for use in conjunction with any depigmentation regimen.

3. Intensify

This specialized treatment product has been formulated for use with all skin types and delivers rejuvenating effects to the neck and upper chest. This retexturing balm reduces fine lines and wrinkles, firms and tightens loose skin, smooths texture, reduces redness, and provides thorough antioxidant protection.

4. Uplift

Our weekly clarifying pads deliver a cocktail of acids which mildly exfoliate, reduce skin inflammation, lessen the frequency of breakouts, balance texture, and even skin tone. This product is a terrific addition for patients with dry, normal, or oily/acneic skin types.

5. Brightening Touchstick

The Ayova Brightening Touchstick is formulated to improve the appearance of unwanted, pigmented lesions. This treatment stick contains an advanced vitamin A ester, a gentle exfoliating acid and an enzyme activated skin lightening agent. All of these ingredients work synergistically to brighten dark spots on the face or body. This product is free of fragrance and preservatives. This touchstick is intended for use on small areas of pigment and can be applied to affected areas once or twice daily as desired.
